About Me
Jannik Grann
Danish UX Researcher & Anthropologist, based in Sydney
Hi, I'm Jannik—a Danish UX researcher and anthropologist now based in Sydney, Australia. My passion lies in understanding people and solving complex problems through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. I thrive on uncovering insights that drive better products and user experiences, ensuring research is both impactful and actionable.
Beyond my professional life, I have a deep love for exploration and learning. I’ve conducted ethnographic research in rural Myanmar, spent time trekking in the Himalayas, and continue to enjoy traveling to remote places. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and brewing coffee, constantly experimenting to refine flavors and techniques.
I have a strong analytical side, reflected in my interests in financial planning and investing. I also love strategy board games, problem-solving challenges, and outdoor activities like trailrunning, hiking, and surfing — having recently taken up the challenge of riding the waves.
I’m always eager to connect with like-minded people who are passionate about human-centered design, research, and meaningful conversations — so feel free to reach out!
